Is bar soap or facial creams better for your face?

I wouldn't reccomend using bar soap on your face because it's designed for the rest of your body where the skin is a lot less delicate and some brands will really irritate sensitive skin. Also it can strip your face of it's natural oils, so your skin will produce more to compensate which will only make your skin oily and spotty- so don't go there.

Definutly use facial clenser.

:)Is bar soap or facial creams better for your face?
i use dove bar soap; it works great(:Is bar soap or facial creams better for your face?
well it depends on the brands. there are some bars that aren't healthy for your face so you have to be careful with the brand that you use. dove is good. i switch off like every other day or like in the morning i use a bar and at night i use cream

    Best Facial Hair Removal Cream?

    Hey guys,

So, my graduation is coming up, and I wanted to get rid of my very light, and faint- but still THERE mustache. I don't like waxing, because I'm bad at it, and I was wondering if any of you girls reccomend a good removal cream?

Thanks! :)Best Facial Hair Removal Cream?
Well there is this thing called Nads that I have. Unfortunately, it is very similiar to wax with the exception of heating. It also hurts just as much. To be honest, I wouldn't use hair removal CREAM that you've never used before right before graduation. You never know what it will do to your skin. It could cause breakouts or irritation. Maybe you should go to see if a salon nearby does waxing or have someone else wax it for you. It does hurt and can be difficult, but it is the safest option.Best Facial Hair Removal Cream?

I am just wondering because I have a little bit of upper lip hair. It's not very noticeable, but I see it, and I hate it. If so do any of you know what is the best bleaching cream, where can I find it, how much it will cost, etc. I think it will work because I have white hair on my face, and it's not noticeable at all. Do hair removal creams make your facial hair grow back darker?

I'm thinking about using Sally Hansen's facial hair removal cream, but I'm afraid my upper lip hair will grow back darker and thicker if I stop using it. There's a chance I'll be living in Africa and other countries where these creams will be unavailable, so I don't want to live with a moustache if I can't always have something to remove it with. Can someone please tell me how the hair grows back after using these creams? Thanks!Do hair removal creams make your facial hair grow back darker?
no noDo hair removal creams make your facial hair grow back darker?
    no it doesn't trust me!
They will definitely not make it grow back darker. A box of the Sally Hansen's facial bleach will last several treatments (which are usually about 4 weeks apart) so if you're going overseas where you think they may not have it, just buy a couple (they were only about $4-5 last time I bought some) and put them in the bag you check-in (remember, they may think it's something terroristic if you try to carry it on! haha j/k).

I read someone else said laser which is also a great solution, but it sounds like you don't want to go that far with it or maybe can't afford it. I can tell you as a woman who undergoes laser treatments regularly that they are expensive (especially the latest one I've been using) and a total luxury. Bottom line: No it won't make it darker or grow back quicker. Just remember to pack a couple extra boxes in your luggage %26amp; you're good to go (I'm gonna have to do the same with some beauty staples since I'm working at Yellowstone for the summer so I feel ya girl!) Hope this helps!
the 1st person on this is right Laser treatment is the answer
No, the hair does not grow neither darker nor thicker. You can solve the problem permanently by means of laser hair removal, so you will not need any facial hair removal products anymore.

just got to cvs or walgreens. find their brand of facial bleaching creme. it does work i've used it on my upper lip. it won't look yellow unless it's a HUGE amount of hair like a man's beard, which i doubt is your situation.

you could bleach it twice though if you want a lighter result. bleach it one day, wait a day, and bleach it again. you'll have to maintain it either way because the bleaching only lasts about a month.

also, in the future if you want to get rid of it for good, try liquid laser. It's about 30 dollars on HSN and it gets rid of hair and the more you use it the less the hair will grow back. it really does work, i've used it.

good luck!Bleaching cream for facial hair?
any cream bleach meant for face is ok...w/e is on sale at the drugstore lol. it will just look blonde, not so much white, but you could bleach the white part too so it matches. you might consider permanent removal in the future, like electrolysis.

  • But when i applied bleach cream before doing facial there was no glow on my face.?

and on the contrary when i applied bleach cream after facial my face looked excellent and fair with glow. But when i applied bleach cream before doing facial there was no glow on my face.?
So your question is when should you apply bleach cream to get a glowy effect? Think you answered your own question. But I don't think I'd be using a bleach cream... sounds harsh to me. There are other ways to get glowy skin. But when i applied bleach cream before doing facial there was no glow on my face.?
yeah because in a facial they take out the dead skin cells from your skin and dirt out of your pores, which has alot to do with making your face look dark and blotchy.Facials clear and exfolliate your skin thats why when you applied the cream after the facial was done you saw a difference.

To brighten the face i use a gentle face scrub, bleach creams are known to dry up your skin.

    Try Nair. It's pretty good.

But remember to do a test patch on the inside of your wrist before you put it on your face. Some people can react pretty badly to hair removal creams.
They make some especially for facial hair. So buy one of those
i suggest nair it wrks gr8 for me
Even tho Nair is great all those creams do is ruin your skin. I mean hey if its strong enuff to basically melt hair think of what it is doing to your skin! Your best bet is waxing...I know it hurts....at first. but you will get used to it I either go to a salon or use Sally Hanson wax strips for face and if you wax the hair comes back thinner and eventually it wont come back at all.
I've used one before and it is made specially to leave your skin feeling soft and smooth after. It is really time efficient; it only takes 5 mins! It's right here at this link:

best facial moisturizer for extremely dry sensitive skin, anti-aging benefits (i'm almost 30 years old)? What should I use, for night cream and day cream.......flaky dry facial skin?
First of all this is not a joke. Go to a farm supply store or call one. Ask them if they have the real product that is used on cows udders that is referred to as udder balm. (some stores have a product that is marketed as udder balm but is made for humans, this stuff is the real deal that I am describing) This is the best cream you will ever find for dry skin and almost nobody except farmers know this. This stuff is so good that if you have cracked skin from winter weather it will heal your hands even if you work outside. It usually comes in a pretty big jar because the people buying it need more than just a little so if you get some, also get some nice little containers to put it in and place them where you are likely to see them and use them often. This stuff does not have all of the crap in it that other creams have in order to enhance its sales such as perfume or whatever. It has almost no scent and what it has is a nice scent. It is not expensive. It is absolutely not toxic. And my daughter who is very fair skinned and sensitive isn't bothered by it at all. Try it you will love it. If you do, share it with all of your family and friends, they will thank you for it.What should I use, for night cream and day cream.......flaky dry facial skin?

Hair removal cremes in the over the counter variety do not affect the root itself and therefore can not alter the color of the hair. Does anybody know how the Japanese maintain such awesome skin? Which Japanese facial creams are the best?

Cosmetics made from sake (Gekkeikan Sake/Jiji)

Skin-care products made out of sake, soy milk, natto (fermented soybeans), and other common Japanese fare are now all the rage. Their popularity is thought to be an outgrowth of heightened public interest in healthy living. Facial cleansers and other skin-care products have become a focus of particular attention because they are applied directly to the skin. The trend is also being fueled by the ready availability of these goods at neighborhood drugstores and over the Internet and by their low cost.

    Natural Moisturizers

In Japan, it has long been said that The hands of sake brewers who handle rice bran every day are white and youthful, so the beautifying effects of this part of a rice grain are common knowledge. Even before the present trend took shape, some Japanese washed themselves with a bath mitt filled with rice bran or poured a bit of sake into their bath water in place of bath salts or powders.

Rice bran, which is the outer part of the grain, is rich in vitamins and minerals but is removed when brown rice is milled. A huge amount of bran is generated in the process of manufacturing sake. Over the past few months, one sake maker after another has entered the skin-care market, intent on making use of this valuable byproduct by creating its own line of goods.

The trailblazer for rice bran cosmetics is the Komenuka Bijin (';Rice Bran Beauty';) line, manufactured by the sake brewer Nihonsakari Co. Having started with a facial cleanser in 1987, the company has since developed a full lineup of products. In October 2004 it added a new series of products, Komenuka Bijin NS-K, which are made from an extract of the yeast used to ferment sake. Komenuka Bijin is sold not only in Japan but in the United States, too, where it has a devoted following, and the company is now considering expanding into the Russian and Chinese markets.

Another sake producer, Gekkeikan Sake Co., released a line of four products, including facial cleanser and toner, under the label Moist Moon over the Internet in October. Moist Moon skin-care goods have been a hit with consumers who prefer natural products and do not want to use anything strong on their skin, since they contain no added fragrances, coloring, or mineral oils. Meanwhile, Hakutsuru Sake Brewing Co. also joined the fray, coming out with three Rice Beauty products, including a toner and a milky lotion. The company plans to expand its sales network from online shopping to supermarkets and other retailers. The products provide long-lasting hydration for just 楼1,000 ($10 at 100 yen to the dollar) to 楼2,500 ($25).

    Staying Young with Soybean Isoflavones

Cosmetics containing soy milk are also popular, thanks to the benefits of isoflavones, compounds that function like the female hormone estrogen. Isoflavones are found in the liquid generated when soybeans are fermented with lactic bacteria. Tokiwa Pharmaceuticals Co. recently marketed a line of basic skin-care goods that uses an isoflavone-rich liquid made from organic beans. The products are said to remove active enzymes and slow down the aging of the skin, prevent the production of melanin and maintain the skin's whiteness, and keep in moisture. Sold in drugstores, the products cost about 楼1,000 ($10).

Finally, Japan Corporation, a subsidiary of ST Chemical Corporation, has marketed four skin care products featuring a combination of the amino acids that make natto sticky. The products do not have natto's stickiness or pungent aroma, but they leave the skin feeling moist thanks to the inclusion of these moisture-maintaining amino acids. The soybeans used to manufacture them are not genetically modified. The products are available at drugstores and other retail shops for about 楼1,000 ($10).

I hope this helps it could be just genetics as well.Does anybody know how the Japanese maintain such awesome skin? Which Japanese facial creams are the best?
actually i think it's more about their food both chinese and japanese food have low fat and low oil content tht's y they have good skin...atleast tht's what i thinkDoes anybody know how the Japanese maintain such awesome skin? Which Japanese facial creams are the best?
It really is no mystery, Japanese have such wonderful skin because of genetics, that's all.

how can i encourage new skin growth thus getting rid of blemishes. whats the average time it takes for new skin to grow? How can i get rid of facial spots without the use of creams?
Exfoliation is what promotes the shedding of old and dead skin cells. It's not too harsh on skin and will help get rid of any scarring left behind by acne products you've used before. You can buy some really good exfoliating products from St. Ives for about $3

    Hope that helps!

Are facial creams containing salicylic acid safe to use during pregnancy?

    Found this for you:

    Salicylic acid

This mild acid is used to treat certain skin disorders, including acne, and you can find it in a number of skin products, such as cleansers and toners. It can penetrate facial oils to get deep into pores and clean out dead skin cells. Salicylic acid is in the aspirin family, so it can also help reduce inflammation or redness. BHA, or beta hydroxy acid, is a form of salicylic acid and is used in some topical exfoliants to reverse signs of aging.

But salicylic acid is another no-no for pregnant women. High doses of the acid in its oral form have been shown in studies to cause birth defects and various pregnancy complications.

Again, doctors are being cautious by recommending that pregnant women avoid the topical use of salicylic acid. Small amounts applied to the skin 鈥?such as a salicylic acid-containing toner used once or twice a day 鈥?are considered safe, says Johnson.

But the concern is stronger about face and body peels containing salicylic acid. ';This kind of 'soaking' in the ingredient is similar to taking one or more aspirin when pregnant,'; she explains.

';More product used equals more absorption into the bloodstream,'; adds Baumann. Always check with your doctor before having a peel treatment. Better yet, she advises, if you must have a peel, have it done professionally at your dermatologist's office. A dermatologist will know how to do it safely during pregnancy.

    On the label:

    Salicylic acid

    Beta hydroxy acid

    BHA

Note: Alpha hydroxy acids, sometimes listed as AHAs, glycolic acid, or lactic acid, are safe.

    Bottom line:

    Best to avoid

theres really no way you can avoid acne. you'll get an occasional zit every now and then. try not stressing so much and keep your face clean. wash it with clearasil facial scrub it's really cheap like 5$ if you cant get that for some reason just wash your face 3 times a day morning, middle of the day, and before you go to sleep with soap. make sure you wash good. that helps to keep your face clean and healthy and not oily. drink water too =]How do you avoid facial acne without use of creams?
When i was going through that i used sard the soap with the gritty particle's in it,lathered it up on the flannel thscrubbedtly scubbed my face, morning and night, the other thing i used to do was,use alchol wipes you get them from the chemist
Acne pads are nice. No mess.

Facial hair -- are hair removal creams better/worst than other methods. Which is the best for your skin? ?

I'm cursed with unwanted facial hair, being of Indian origin, it's difficult to bleach or hide this hair. I've been waxing for the past couple of years and lately I've been afraid of ruining my skin so I purchased a hair removal cream from Sally Hansen. How often should one wax/use the cream/etc to get rid of this hair?Facial hair -- are hair removal creams better/worst than other methods. Which is the best for your skin? ?
I use it for 3 minutes once a month and it works great. Because it actually dissolves the root, it grows back softer and lighter in color. The other alternatives, and particularly plucking, make the hairs coarser and more noticeable.

No. The good ones are actually supposed to help thin it out.Do hair removal creams make your facial hair grow back darker?
That's a myth, nothing really makes your hair darker or thicker.
No, the only way it grows back darker is if you shave it. But the best way to go is waxing. It pulls it from the root then eventually grows back lighter.
oh yes sweety!!!!!!they will certainly grow thicker and darker and would look like a damn thing. of course living in africa would make you have a moustache. but you can opt in for threading, tweezing or waxing which lasts long and is easily available in africa. HAVE A HAPPY TRIP!!!!!!!!!
    no
If you're traveling, then the best answer by far is shaving. Get a rechargeable Norleco men's razor and a set of adapters for the various receptacles you'll find in Africa. You'll be able to use it for a couple of months without recharging if you buy one of the top models.

I use Veet sensitive skin stuff and it's alright but it does leave my skin quite red for a while, so I always do it at night right before I'm going to bed so that the skin has all night to settle down.

Wet your face then rub lemon or calamansi and leave it for 3 minutes, a little irritating but don't worry its all natural, it wont do harm but it just makes your face smooth and whiten the acne marks.Do this every morning %26amp; night. Don't go to bed without doing this facial ritual. Your diligence will soon give you rewards.
try tea tree oil. have you heard of it? i heard it changed people's lives. it heals and dries up pimples quickly.
Yep cocoa butter or Bio Oil. They both work wonders. If you team it with an exfoliation regime or microderm-abrasion, you may see quicker results. Good luck!!
coco butter lotion will improve them greatly. just put it on the marks when ever you think about it.

Is the number of grams on facial prescription creams for acne affect the strength?

Yes the stronger the grams the more potent the medication. Higher grams will cause more drying but will be more effective for severe acne. If you just have a pimple here or there you should use the lower grams to avoid drying out your skin too much.Is the number of grams on facial prescription creams for acne affect the strength?
grams have nothing to do with it.....grams are the amount of the cream/ointment you receive. MG are what determines the potency Report Abuse
Is the number of grams on facial prescription creams for acne affect the strength?
It denends on which number you are talking about. If you mean the number right after the drug name then yes this is the strength but if you mean the number in small letters near the bottom that would be how much is in the tube aka how many grams of ointment is in the tube.
Huh? Grams? You mean how much is in the container? The directions tell you how much to use and that is the indication of how much medication you are using each time.......not the amount IN the container.

Does veet/nair or other facial hair removal creams work?

i've read like review for veet and nair but i couldn't find it for the facial hair but for ur legs some people said that it made their legs have htis like burning feel and i have sensitive skin do thye make one for ppl with sensitive skin if u have used this or no someone who has or no of other inexpensive facial hair removal creams please leave a comment!!!!!!!!!!Does veet/nair or other facial hair removal creams work?
Veet and Nair for legs SUCK!!! I've tried the sensitive, extra strength and everything between. It smells and leaves a film on your legs so when you have to shave (cause it doesn't work, it clogs your razor.

The bikini line/facial Nair works well on the bikini line so I bet it does for facial hair since it is softer hair than the legs.Does veet/nair or other facial hair removal creams work?
I have very sensitive skin, I can't even buy scented lotion, however I recommend to not buy either, they both burn your skin and it doesn't even really work.
    Well it stings because.

    It burns your hair.

So I would recommend you don't use it.

yeah. i use the avon skin so soft stuff

for the upperlip and it works fine. its

painless. it only lasts about 4 weeks

but it's easy and cheap. cheap as in

    not expensive (:
I don't like hair removal creams for two reasons. First, they don't work all that well. I noticed that waxing removes the hair much more thoroughly. Second, the harsh chemicals make me have an allergic reaction. I always get a rash when I use those creams. I use home waxing kits. They are less expensive than the salon, and they work quite well.
i used facial cream alot then once i left it on to long %26amp; i got an aversive reaction so now i stick to waxing which i think is the best i had mine waxed of 9 months ago %26amp; it is not visable anymore, but everybody is different %26amp; has different skin types its what works 4 you really.
It works well ,and last longer.Don't use it around the eyes ever. That wax only makes for pain.Good luck sweeetie.

yes but it burns and hurts

ARBONNE... i will have to recommend these products since they are botanically based, formulatted without mineral oil which is the 2nd cause for the fine lines.... and they are also formulatted without animal products which cause pore clogings among other things.... anyway i started using them for my acne and recommend them ever since, i had been strugling with acne for over 9 years, i tried everything and i tried every dr i knew and nothing .... until a friend gave me some acne remedies from arbonne and now this is the only thing that i put on my skin ... their antiaging line is awesome.... check their site out and ask for more info and some samples.... i buy them online at: http://arbonnepuertorico.myarbonne.comHighly recommended otc brands of facial creams/lotions for aging skin.?

Are there any other treatments for facial discoloration other than creams with retnol and laser treatments?

Please DO NOT use lemon juice on your skin, it can burn you or it can cause more discoloration when exposed to sunlight...

Go to a dermatologist to find out the reason for the discoloration, it could be an absence of melanin, a fungus, sun damage, etc.

Get professional help, it is worth the money, do not mess around with products you don't know that could cause further damage, without finding out the root of your problems because we only get one face. Are there any other treatments for facial discoloration other than creams with retnol and laser treatments?
ABSOLUTELY.... First STOP using commercial skin care! GO ORGANIC or NATURAL. Start with a really deep exfoliation treatment. If the discoloration is only a few layers of epidermis(skin) layers thin, then a few treatments should clear it up. Then I would suggest ORGANIC soap or other products. I had roseacea (red blemishes on the cheeks) until I started using TEA TREE OIL organic soap from: www.SANDYCREEKSOAP.etsy.com ($2.50 a bar). It cleared it up in like a week.... and this was something I battled with for YEARS!!!! They are very helpful with skin problem questions, they will even design a bar for your skin type based on your skin conditions - that’s not something you find. They only charged me like $5 buck a bar for the custom. You want/need HANDMADE or hand-milled soap made the old fashion way. If not them, then “someone” else who sells handmade organic. Their soaps have GLYCERIN in them (a natural moisture retainer). In STORE bought soap glycerin is sold for profit and replaced with a chemical called sodium lauryl sulfate to add lather which is listed in the encyclopedia as a skin IRRITANT. I know, I couldn’t believe it either, but look it up! This chemical is found in 98% of ALL STORE bought soaps. SCARY, HU? READ THE BACK! (Even the ones claiming to be natural or clean). BUT (and I’m not trying to sell you on them) The soaps at SANDY CREEK SOAP COMPANY are organic, natural AND eco friendly. S%26amp;H is only like a dollar fifty, and I got my order in a few days. If you are on short notice ask for faster shipping. And best of all they are CHEAP! Most eco friendly products are so expensive you can’t AFFORD to save the world. Hope this helped...Are there any other treatments for facial discoloration other than creams with retnol and laser treatments?
if you have dark spots you could try lemonjuice be careful though very acidic -

and if you have light spots why not get a facial tanner it wouldnt just wash off and if you applied it lightly everyday it would cover discolorations
Whatever you do, don't use Michael Jackson's doctors.

Is it unmanly to use facial creams?

No, why would it be unmanly to take care of yourself? You might as well take care of your skin. You're going to have it a long time.Is it unmanly to use facial creams?
no its not. some guys would say so but there not the ones your trying to impress are they? I mean if you weigh being 'unmanly' and using a face cream or having dry skin the anser is pretty obvious. Is it unmanly to use facial creams?
there is nothing wrong with it, some guys might call you metro, but you probably shouldnt listen to them, they probably have really ugly skin and no girls
I gave this habit to my guys and he liked .
Of course it is, that's why you're asking.

It's unatural for a masculine man to be vain about his looks, although those that espouse the 'femininization' of our society would have you taking on all the traits of the weaker sex.

While the downfall of our society does trouble me, I am satisfied with the knowledge that such a feminized society is not long for this cruel world, for surely those who don't follow such perverse crimes against nature will destroy us in short order.
Well alot of men do it. They're called gay.
No way! It's hot when a guy looks after himself
NO ! only a true man dares to try ! ...theres lots of men care products ard nowadays so theres no need for u to get women's ones (thou u can ) ..

Using facial care for hygene n protection purpose shud be an essential stuff for men too as the sun is getting stronger than it is in the past n pollution is worse as well which will cause our skin to be more vulurable ! ( i didnt say makeup )
So long as its not ';Your'; Cream.
no way. more mem should, it's good for soft skin and prevents wrinkles. and it smells good.
Like females, men should protect their skin from harmful UV rays to prevent skin cancer by applying facial creams/sun block regularly.
It's fine! I love it when guy's faces feel soft and smooth! It means you take care of yourself. As long as you don't start wearing concealer and foundation and other stuff like that. That would be just wrong.
Nope, not at all...I have two sons, they use Noxema for cleaning their faces daily.
No, it is definitely not unmanly to use facial creams. It is a good way to look younger in old age when all the ';manly'; people are going to look like dried apricots.
No, not unmanly at all. In fact it is becoming more common and practical, especially for men in occupations that involve being in the sun for long periods of time. I'm not referring to sun creams here.

Men are becoming more and more conscious of their own bodies and want to look after it. Using moisturizing cream helps with dry skin if nothing else!
I don't think so as long as you don't start wearing makeup or anything .
no ,men need a good skin care regimen
why should it be unmanly? better to have soft skin a lady would like, than nasty rough and dry skin. and people won't know that you use it unless you tell them. [=

and no, it would not be consider gay, in spite of the first answer.
No my dad does! Keeps him young lookin
holy cow ive answered like 4 of your questions! but no, its not!
they are now creating mens facial creams , men are learning there is nothing wrong with taking care of your looks.
it's not unmanly. a lot of women would think that was sexy.
Not at all. It's not girlie to not want to age quicker. There's more skin care lines that are specifically for men now. Even Gilette at like Target, I think has face wash and moisturizer for guys. Check it out!
It is not ';unmanly'; to use facial creams. Actually it is becoming quite popular these days. As long as you don't start putting on makeup and nail polish you'll be fine.

  • How can i get rid of facial burns from creams?

AHHHH!!! i have that problem. like i do my face cuz its really hairy and then it takes me a half hour and then my face is really red. and it burns.. it goes away pretty much after awhile but try using neosporin.. it works!!!!How can i get rid of facial burns from creams?
With a finger of Aloe Vera Barbadensis, from a living plant that is traditionally housed in the kitchen to assuage the cooking burns that sometimes occur there. I must warn you though, you may see some benficial side effects from using this plant. It might help hydrate your skin, and balance your hormones, so you won't feel a need for the cream which is creating the problem.

If the creams are for hair removal as another reader assumed, why not use lemon juice and sunshine to lighten it?

Lemon drop shots in a half of a lemon sounds so promising, I might have to try it. Dressed with lemon balm, of course and with honey on my upper lip. :-)

Rub the wounded end of the aloe tube (or finger) onto your wounded skin and it will begin soothing immediately.

    Best wishes for pleasant relief.

Do facial hair removal creams make your upper lip hair grow back thicker?

Like Nair, will your hair grow back thicker? Will it look like stubble [i don't want that]. I wax it @ a salon, but I want something fast like the Nair facial cream. I am Italian, so I have some hair on my upper lip, so is it worth it? I only want it if it doesn't make your hair grow back thicker.Do facial hair removal creams make your upper lip hair grow back thicker?
Nope...the only drawback is that it is not a permanent solution.Do facial hair removal creams make your upper lip hair grow back thicker?
ok here you go, i like answering ones like these that are so obvious. Shaving, waxing or hair removal creme. NOTHING can make your hair grow back thicker. Example women who have been shaving for years would have porcupine legs, but listen..... anything that cuts the hair (shaving) but doesn't remove the root (like with cremes or laser surgery) will make it stubbled.
YES! It'll grow back thicker, faster, darker etc. Most hair on your body will if it's waxed (sometimes arm hair doesn't grow back at all when waxed - but it's the most painful). Bleach it, it's what pretty much every magazine will tell you do too, because it's the least riskiest.
I use one that is specifically made for the face. Most come with a calming cream that will soothe any irritation. I've had no problem with thick hair or stubble.... if anything, it's all but gone away! :)

    Good luck!
Your hair NEVER grows back thicker.

It only looks like it does.

Otherwise, you'd have hair the size of tree stumps by now.
No. Nothing in the world makes your hair grow back thicker, it is all urban legends.

What are the cons of using the facial hair removal creams for women?

You know those creams you can buy at drugstores like CVS or RITEAID for women who have a little bit of hair above their upper lip and don't like it, so they remove it with the cream? I was wondering if there are any cons of using the cream such as if there are any health issues, or if it causes the hair to grow back faster or thicker actually or if it just doesn't work. What are the cons of using the facial hair removal creams for women?
The cons of using facial hair removing creams like nair are that...

    1. If you have lighter skin it can bleach the hair and make it lighter than your face drawing attention to it.

    2. Creams can burn your face, it's just like shaving.sometimes after you shave you get razor bumps, and your skin becomes itchy because it is lacking mositure. If the cream doesn't agree with you it could turn ugly and the whole world would know

Is it safe to use bleach cream on skin, to dye facial hair during pregnancy?

2nd TrimesterIs it safe to use bleach cream on skin, to dye facial hair during pregnancy?
I don't know about that- I would definitely check with the doctor first. You aren't supposed to dye your hair- it seems the same principle would be in place here.Is it safe to use bleach cream on skin, to dye facial hair during pregnancy?
The basic rule for using pretty much anything during pregnancy is to only do it if the potential benefits outweigh the risk.

I am unsure of the risks of using bleach, however I do know that chemicals are absorbed through the skin and passed on to the baby.

I believe pure lemon juice and sun can be used to get the same effects as bleach, without the harmful chemicals.
dunno but guess what, there is eveidence that suggests, bleaching of skin promotes facial hair growth in women.....think about it eh.
i no you shouldnt dye your hair so im guessing it would be the same thing because of the chemicals in it
NO BECAUSE BLEACH IS A STRONG CHEMICAL .TO BE USING ON YOUR HAIR OR SKIN WHEN PREGNANT.
no not at all the extreme aroma can relly hurt the baby dang why not just drink nail polish remover it would be about the same
No, it is not safe to use bleach cream on skin,to dye facial hair during pregnancy
i dont think so no as they say to not dye ur hair on ur head while ur pregnant either i think if ur desperate to do so consult with ur dr hun not safe otherwise
I have heard that you shouldn't use hair dyes, fake tan lotion etc during pregnancy as the chemicals in them haven't been tested on pregnant women so they don't know how it might affect the baby; suppose bleach would fit into this category too.
I doubt it, your not supposed to get your hair coloured although celebs do and don't seem to have any bother
no it's not safe, this is not for you right

cause your picture is of a guy.

You can't use any kind of chemicals during pregnancy.
they say you shoudnt as your skin will be alot more tender and eaiser to rash harm etc, the same as you shoudnt perm your hair when pregnant, but its up to you if you feel ok to risk it
NO it's not safe, neither is hair dye.

You should avoid chemicals as much as you can

bleach cream is known to cause CANCER, you wouldn't use it anytime.

    Hope this helps
    yea dont see why not

Ladies, what kind of facial creams, peels, etc. should I use?

TO have great skin on my face. What do you use to have great skin?Ladies, what kind of facial creams, peels, etc. should I use?
Murad products saved my life- i went from having acne so bad that it looked like my cheeks were made of ground beef- now i have amazingly clear skin without scars and i actually get compliments on how good my skin looks sometimes- it didnt dry me out or make my face feel like i was burning off- it actually smelled good and fresh and it feels great- like i said a total lifesaver.Ladies, what kind of facial creams, peels, etc. should I use?
I would say peels are the way to go for great skin.

That being said, make sure you carefully research each peeling product before you buy it - if you're not careful you could end up with some industrial-strength deep phenol peel that will destroy your skin.

Personally, I would go with a light glycolic peel, somewhere between 20-30% concentration. They're all over the web, and if you google them, you should be able to find one for under 20$.

For brand name solutions, I would check out Neutrogena Facial Peel, which is very mild, but it still makes your skin look fresh and glowing.
If you're looking for an over the counter fix, Neutrogena is the best bet by far and have an array of products for every skin type. They used to have a website with their different product genre's and questionaires you could take to figure out what would be best for your skin, but I haven't went on their site in a bit. It is the only product that doesn't start breaking me out and that has proven to be the best for the availability and price. Lots of people would recommend proactiv, and if you can get your hands on the sell bargain price for that, a promotion they're having, definitely check it out as well if you want to order online or through the mail.
stick with the basics. wash ur face day and nite with a good cleanser and moisturize with a good moisturizer. if u want to use face masques, burts bees is great, but i kinda think other guys would call u a wuss...

My schoolmate goes to get it waxed professionally (it doesn't become thicker and she does it every two weeks for the mean time; after some time they told her that the hair won't grow that much) or bleaches it blond with a special dye so people can't see it.
    i get mine threaded

you don't have to use it everyday and it doesn't get thicker, it just stays the same

You apply a layer of CE cream on the area and massage lightly before you shave. Use a ladies type of shaver as its more mild.

Afterwhich rinse off the area and wipe it dry. Apply the layer of CE cream again to moisturize it. Check out this exclusive product onlien which is made of chlorella and not available in drug store.
    well, you have two choices.

    1) just get over it and wax it off, you know they do sell stuff so you can wax off facial stuff yourself

    2) you may be concerned that it woun't seem femine enough for you to shave your face, but who has to know? (relying on the fact that you are a girl...)
I'm sorry but you only have four options:

    1. Pull each hair out with tweezers.

    2. Bleach the hair a very light blonde

    3. Buy some hair wax removal, follow the directions, and use it.

    4. Use a wax deplitator like Nair or some other hair dissolver.

I recommend option number three. It will work the best

I know what you mean. I have sensitive skin and have had issues with different creams.

I found that SurgiCream has worked very well for me. The main thing with these creams is to ** follow the directions carefully **. I recommend testing it to see how your skin reacts to the chemicals. With one brand, my skin reacted to within a minute; the product was supposed to say on the skin for 3 minutes!

Be sure to use a cream specially designed for the the face - creams for other parts of the body are too harsh for facial skin.

Finally, don't exofliate or use a facial scrub for a couple of days prior to using the cream. Exfoliating makes your skin more sensitive to hair removal creams.
You have to be careful with chemical hair removal products. Always spot test a small area of skin first to see if you develop a rash.

    Differin cream for facial acne?

Is the acne treatment cream Differin the type of treatment where your skin will get worse before it gets better?Differin cream for facial acne?
Differin is a retinoid product, which often is irritating to the skin (although Differin is the least likely of the three that are on the market to do that). If the skin is irritated enough, it gets a bit swollen, and the pores get swollen shut, which will keep the pores from draining out their oil product. After a while, the skin becomes accustomed to the product and stops being irritated.Differin cream for facial acne?
Yup it sure will. Its called initial breakout, but hopefully after a couple weeks max it'll work better and the intial breakout will be totally gone. everyone is different though so remember to follow up with your derm to make sure your on the right treatments:)
Very possibly yes. Differen works as a mild exfoilate--removing the upper most layer of skin--but not all in one day. It's a mild process, but your skin may take a little time to get used to it. You might add a little moisturizer to your nightly Different treatment to get you used to it. And, there is no point in wearing Differen during the day--ultraviolet light breaks it down. It's for night time use only.
I've been in that situation and there is really nothing you can do about it. There are things you can do to try to reduce the blemishes and get rid of acne/pimples temporarily but you will always be finding yourself cleaning your face or your body depending on where it's at.

I mean of course your acne should go away eventually but for some this is the case their whole life.

I'm 29 years old and have been suffering from these little pests since I was a teenager. I tried all sorts of face washes from the local grocery store and what not, but nothing seemed to work. If anything it would just make my skin dry and itchy.

Literally the best acne face wash I've ever used has been this stuff called clearpores. It has got rid of the acne to quickest and has been a success ever since I got it. It's unique cause of it's herbal supplement you take a long with it that helps your skin from the inside out. I saved money on it at skincleansingsystem.com at the time which was helpful.

You should really look into this stuff and if you can to assure the best results, get the 3 month supply because if it doesn't work it will still save you butt on the return policy.

Well good luck and best wishes.

The only reason that I wouldn't do it is because it is a very strong moisturizer and can be oily and might cause more breakouts. But if it is working well for you, use it. There's nothing that should stop you from doing so.

  • Sally Hansen facial hair remover cream: Regrowth?

I just used the sally hansen facial hair remover cream on my upper lip. this is the first time ive ever removed the hairs there. it feels like my upper lip is burning now.. maybe i put it on for too long. but here are my questions:

    1. does it cause ingrown hairs? is this why im feeling this pain? or is it just the burn from leaving it on too long?

    2. does the hair grow back thicker, darker, and/or quicker?Sally Hansen facial hair remover cream: Regrowth?
You are feeling burning because of the product itself. Your skin may simply be a little sensitive to this product, but the burn will go away. Be sure to follow all directions and never leave it on longer than what the directions recommend.

Typically, you won't get ingrown hairs with a hair remover. You may get a few bumps %26amp; redness from your skin being irritated, but these will go away in a day or so. Try putting some hydrocortisone cream on the areas to alleviate the redness %26amp; soreness.

Your hair will not grow back thicker %26amp; darker or quicker. Usually, it takes about 3 to 6 weeks for the hair to reappear. It all depends upon how fast your hair grows, naturally.

The more you wax and or use hair removers, the thinner %26amp; finer your hair will become. So, there are actually long-term benefits.

If you find your skin is too easily irritated %26amp; red for too long, you may want to try waxing or just bleaching the hair.Sally Hansen facial hair remover cream: Regrowth?
i actually just tried it now, i feel a little numbness, not any burning really

Do you know about some Facial hair removing cream available in India?Facial hair removing cream in India?
I would suggest not to use too much of chemicals for ur skin..u might try waxing or using tweezerz

Any suggestion for oil-free facial cleaning cream?

this is my first time using facial cleaning cream so i was just wondering what brand should i useAny suggestion for oil-free facial cleaning cream?
i really like that clean and clear stuff. they make an in shower facial cream that i think works really well. it got rid of all my pimples and made my face feel really soft.

Is it okay if i put on facial scrub, foam, cleanser, moisturizer and cream all at once...?

although its kind of stupid to ask but i only want to know??Is it okay if i put on facial scrub, foam, cleanser, moisturizer and cream all at once...?
Despite what everybody else thinks, it's fine. You may not get every single result you would normally get using them individually, but it's not going to hurt anything. IT'S FINE! And who knows, maybe you could figure out a secret for good skin! Lol, good luck.Is it okay if i put on facial scrub, foam, cleanser, moisturizer and cream all at once...?
you mean togather? hmmm i don't think so.

I'd suggest using foam rinse, then cleanser, rinse. and then gently use facial scrub. rinse then moisturizer and then cream. togather if you'd like. Remember to use 15 SPF every day!
its ok, but it won't really work with the desired effects, as they are designed to be used in an order... you can combine some, like cleanse and tone, (by getting a product that does both,) otherwise you haev to do it in order...

    scrub

    foam

    cleanse

    tone

    moisturise

    =)
Why would you want to waste your hard earned money on all that stuff? My skin is great and I use a moisturizing soap and water.Save your money.
No. I think you'd have a nasty mess on your face. These products are made to use in a certain order, one at a time. I doubt at your age (you sound young) you need all this stuff anyway.
Well...it would be okay to put the facial scrub and foam at once. But i wouldn't put the moisturizer and cream during then. You see the facial scrub and foam kinda makes your skin a bit dry. You'd want to wait some time before putting on the cream.
You're feeling so lazy , hah! On these days when you feeling lazy to clean your face , just wash it with water or you do more harm than good if you do this mixing thing all the same time .

My question why do you ask a foolish question?
y don't u add sunscreen as well? lol. That.z too harsh on your skin.. don't use 'em all at once.. use one kinda skin-cleaning substance n a moisturizer[o cream, but not both]
    Not a good idea.

Each thing is for a different purpose....for example.

The moisturizer won't work if you wash it off with the cleansing products.
sure I guess just although your face may feel gross
bit pointless isnt it? do it its not going to do anything bad to you (unless ur alergic) other than make you look really cool.

your friends are going to be so jelous
no stop being lazy......................it don't take long to do it take out time for your skin.....or get ugly fast........good luck
You can put the scrub and cleanser together! but w/out the moisturizer!
it is ok as long the product did not give any effect to you..
    In a word no.

You need to scrub first to clear the pores and get rid of the dead skin. Then the cleanser will actually get rid of the dirt from your face. The Moisturiser will rehydrate the skin as scrubbing and cleansing does rid some of the water.

If you put them on all together each part will not have a chance to do its job!

Why does piles cream help facial wrinkles?

it has a tightening effect shrinks the skinWhy does piles cream help facial wrinkles?
This cream helps because it shrinks blood vessels. While I've heard of it helping ';bags'; under the eyes, I've not heard of it being effective for wrinkles elsewhere on the face. Why does piles cream help facial wrinkles?
I read somewhere it was because it works by contracting the skin, so if it works on your a'se it'll work on your face! Can't say I'm likely to try it though! Although models apparently swear by Preperation H in the US.
Retin- A, one of the ingredients
    Dunno.

Do you think Oil of Olay will stop my **** being so sore?
Baby oil will have the same effect. try it, its cheaper too!
Beware of any medicated treatment being used for something that they have not been tested or approved for.

If it's not been approved for it, it may be because the manufacturer knows of risks that we might not guess at. (They would like to raise more money, after all).

Remember short-term gain may cause long-term pain!

    Good luck! Rob
hemorrhoid creams applied to under the eyes is a temporary fix for puffy skin

    does nothing for wrinkles
No Idea, gosh I must be well out of practise, hadn't heard of that one. Not sure that I would even consider trying it, I mean you wouldn't use a reputable eye cream for piles would you.
    It doesn't!
It reduces puffy bags under the eyes by constricting the blood vessels. Doubt it'd help with wrinkles though, my mum has botox to get rid of her laughter lines.
awww couldnt use that on my face mite be 36 but they aint that bad yet lol
It doesn't, unless you have wrinkles like ring pieces.

  • What are the best facial creams for maturing skin?

I'm using the regenerist line from Oil of Olay. So far no wrinkles. What are the best facial creams for maturing skin?
The Olay Regenerist line is great! It's available in the drugstore and is pretty affordable. Aveeno is another good drugstore brand. Though I would recommend maybe stopping by a Nordstrom or other department store and visiting a Kiehl's or Clinique and have a consultation. They both have wonderful skincare lines, they will cost you a little more, but it my experience it's worth it. Also, remember just because you have a consultation does NOT mean you are obligated to purchase something. Feel free to e-mail me if you have any questions!!What are the best facial creams for maturing skin?
You should try the Aveeno positively ageless face wash and moisturizer. They have awesome face products.
I agree with the comment that Aveeno has great (foaming) face washes. As far as facial creams go, however, nothing beats Oil of Olay. The ladies that I know in their 40s and 50s with amazing skin all say that's what they use; that's all the convincing I need! :) By the way, my mom and I both had tingly reactions to the ';sensitive skin'; formula. I would go with original.

Why are some facial creams so expensive and others not?

Are the expensive ones better? (usually big brands) and what brand do you use? For eye contours, day- %26amp; nightcream, ...Why are some facial creams so expensive and others not?
You are primarily paying for name brands with expensive lines. Recently a poll came out from studies from professionals, laymen(everyday people) and beauty experts...that the most effective line in beauty cream was the Oil of Olay Regenerist, and at approx. $17 a jar, it is very reasonable as well.

I am 39 y.o woman who works nights and has three kids and a household to run, there is not a person I know who has ever guessed my age correctly. I have used regular Oil of Olay since high school, and soap, (yes I know everyone is horrified), I prefer Nivea Visage CoQ10 Night Cream, it's thick for pm, although I recently started with Regenerist last week and am excited to see any improvement over the next few weeks. I have tried everything from Lancome, Clinique, Kiehl's, etc. and I always return to my Olay! Why are some facial creams so expensive and others not?
i use clarins products and dont think they are that expensive the cleasers and toners are only around 14 pounds and the day cream i use is around 30 pounds and it last quite a while cos you only need a small amount. try going to a department store and asking for a few samples first so you can try before you buy,
you pay for what you get...meaning: if it's cheaply made, it's cheaply priced, if it's a good quality, it's going to be higher priced. so i'de go for the more expensive one.
    the name and their ingredients
Sometimes you are paying for exotic ingredients. Sometimes you are just paying for the brand name. Read the ingredients on the bottle, a lot of times you are buying weird chemical concoctions. Don't waste your money.

For pure, safe and beneficial products, try Arbonne. They are all natural, botanical and safe for all skin types. They have some GREAT anti-aging products - night creams, eye creams to reduce wrinkles, etc. And they have great daily cleansers and moisturizers that are pH balanced and all hypoallergenic.
