Differin is a retinoid product, which often is irritating to the skin (although Differin is the least likely of the three that are on the market to do that). If the skin is irritated enough, it gets a bit swollen, and the pores get swollen shut, which will keep the pores from draining out their oil product. Yup it sure will. Its called initial breakout, but hopefully after a couple weeks max it'll work better and the intial breakout will be totally gone. everyone is different though so remember to follow up with your derm to make sure your on the right treatments:)
Very possibly yes. Differen works as a mild exfoilate--removing the upper most layer of skin--but not all in one day. It's a mild process, but your skin may take a little time to get used to it. You might add a little moisturizer to your nightly Different treatment to get you used to it. And, there is no point in wearing Differen during the day--ultraviolet light breaks it down. It's for night time use only.
I've been in that situation and there is really nothing you can do about it. There are things you can do to try to reduce the blemishes and get rid of acne/pimples temporarily but you will always be finding yourself cleaning your face or your body depending on where it's at.





I mean of course your acne should go away eventually but for some this is the case their whole life.
